Dr.P.Bordoloi is a gold medallist in Physics from Gauhati University, completed his Ph.D in the field of satellite communication. He was a faculty member in the Gauhati University for about three years. He started the business as Soldom Electronics in the year 1982 (with Rs.1600/- from scholarship) which was eventually incorporated as a Private Limited company in August 2000.
